Welcome to our website!  Fox Hills Music Teachers Association is a group of dedicated independent music teachers in the McHenry County area.  We offer a wide assortment of music making opportunities for our students, and provide continuing training for teachers through our monthly programs.

Mission Statement
Fox Hills Music Teachers Association’s mission is to support the advancement of excellence in music teaching in our community. Through interaction and continuing education for all music teachers, FHMTA offers opportunities for students to improve their music skills, share their music, and enrich their lives.

 

Meeting Times

Our regular meetings take place on the third Tuesday of most months and are held in the community room at US Bank, 350 Commonwealth Drive, Crystal Lake, beginning at 9:30 am.  Please see our calendar for information on our meeting programs and other upcoming events.

The Fox Hills Music Teachers Association (FHMTA) is a regional group of Chicago Area Music Teachers.  Our members are drawn from the Fox Valley and McHenry County (Northwest of Chicago).  Our current members represent the communities of: Antioch, Buffalo Grove, Cary, Crystal Lake, Lake in the Hills, West Dundee, McHenry, Woodstock, Spring Grove, Fox River Grove, Palatine, Schaumburg, Algonquin, Marengo, & Inverness.
