How To Get Involved
- Students will be divided into four groups, assigned as they arrive
- Opening Session / Introduction: Tom Vos and Beverly Taylor, 10 minutes
- All groups together in the sanctuary
- Students (and families) will rotate through four interactive sessions, each one lasting 25 minutes, with a five minute transition between each session
- The event will conclude with a live Baroque performance for all groups together in the sanctuary, lasting between 15 and 25 minutes
Sessions
- Pipe organ - Barbara Thorsen, organist at FCC
- Harpsichord - Emily Katayama, founding member of New Comma Baroque and former FHMTA member
- Baroque Dance - Lottie Buckbee, Baroque dance instructor
- What In The World? - a look at life for children and teens in the Baroque period, facilitated by Cheryl Saathoff
- Live performances by a string ensemble (including Tom Vos), organ, harpsichord, and a woodwind trio
Tickets and Marketing
- Flyers are available to send home with students, and to post in locations in the community (see Tom Vos for information on where to post)
- Letters are available to send home with students (see below)
- Letters and flyers will be mailed to local school music teachers and other private teachers in our area
- Tickets are available at brownpapertickets.com. Advance (discounted) prices are $10 adults, $5 students/seniors, and $20 family pass for up to six family members. Tickets will be available at the door (cash/check only) for $15, $10, and $25.
- If a family want to purchase tickets in advance but doesn't want to use a credit card, they can use cash or check through you and pick up their tickets at the door. Please send an email to FoxHillsMTA.tickets@gmail.com with any of these ticket sales so we can keep track of them. Payment for these tickets should be given to Julie Wilson, treasurer. Please note, we encourage everyone to use the online ticket service if at all possible.

- Encourage advance ticket sales.
